November 2015: Global Climate March

On November 29, students from Marlborough, Harvard Westlake, Campbell Hall, Windward, Oakwood, Brentwood, Crossroads, and the Episcopal School joined concerned Angelenos in front of City Hall to advocate for climate change action as part of a Global Climate March, a collection of 1,000 events around the world in advance of the COP21 climate talks in Paris. Along with other students, CCC President Clara Nevins ’18 addressed the crowd to convey the concerns of her generation. At the event, the club made connections with other schools interested in starting club chapters. Subsequently, Clara travelled to Paris as a participant in the Sustainable Innovation Forum 2015, the UN Environment Programme’s official event at COP21.
